Sustainable alternative to conventional methods

Plasma technology enables low-emission production processes, reducing significant CO₂ emissions and the use of countless tonnes of chemicals.

Many chemical surface treatment processes can be replaced by plasma: With plasma technology, surfaces can be pre-treated in an environmentally friendly way—completely without solvents (VOC) and CO₂ emissions. There is no need for chemicals, primers or adhesion promoters when using plasma technology.

Openair-Pasma^® is generated using simple compressed air and electricity, making it a dry and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional surface treatment methods. It helps to significantly reduce the global carbon footprint and VOC emissions in production processes.

Our Services

We think in surfaces. As the world's leading manufacturer of plasma units and systems, Plasmatreat develops solutions for the pretreatment of surfaces. Applications focus on the industrial-scale microfine cleaning, activation and coating of surfaces made of materials such as plastics, metals, glass, cardboard, textiles and composites - materials used in virtually all sectors of the manufacturing industry.

If you are interested in testing plasma treatment in your production or laboratory, we are happy to help. We can make our plasma test systems available to you on loan. Firstly, we evaluate the situation/application you have in your production and what your requirements are.
